2010/11
starts- Mexico City - TEFL intern, children aged 6-12- 2 internships available
This
is a 4 or 8-week internship designed to
allow a TEFL intern to work directly within
a primary school. An intern will
be responsible for learning and implementing
EFL and Social Studies programs with numerous groups of EFL
students or vaying levels and ages.
Prerequisites:
TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA training or equivalent.
No teaching experience necessary. No Spanish
proficiency required.
Stipend:
$2000 Mexican pesos or a Spanish language course
Program
Length and cost: 4 or 8 weeks (Monday
through Friday). $600

Accommodations:
TLA will assist the intern with locating accommodations as homestay, or furnished room

and classes - 2 internships available
This
is a 4 or 8-week internship designed to allow
a TEFL intern to work directly within an active
language school. An intern will be responsible
for learning and implementing EFL programs with
numerous groups of EFL students or varying levels
and ages. An intern will also work on the admin
side through new student enrollment, placement
testing, interviews, and more. Stipend available.
Prerequisites:
TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA training or equivalent.
No teaching experience necessary. No Spanish proficiency
required - you will learn.
Stipend:
$2000 Mexican pesos per 4 week period paid directly to intern
Program
Length and cost: 4 or 8 weeks (Monday through
Friday, some Saturday work). $450 usd 4 weeks,
$800 usd 8 weeks
Accommodations:
homestay or furnished room available, approximately

This
is a 4-week internship designed to give a TEFL
intern a hands-on experience working directly
with a language center handling business and company
EFL classes. An intern will function as a teacher's
assistant for company classes, as well as work
on assignments designed to teach the intern how
to critical analyze the English language training
needs of a company that does business internationally.
Prerequisites:
TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA training or equivalent.
No teaching experience necessary, although preferred.
No Spanish proficiency required.
Stipend:
none offered, opportunity for employment after
